The Esther Cancer Care Ministry is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing the challenges of cancer. Our ministry was born from a personal journey with cancer and a calling to ensure that no one has to walk through this difficult season alone.
We provide compassionate care, practical assistance, and spiritual encouragement to members of our community who are navigating cancer treatment and recovery. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we are able to meet real needs and bring hope to those who need it most.
Our mission is simple: to provide support, compassion, and faith-centered encouragement to individuals and families impacted by cancer.
Even in our first year of operation, we have already seen how small acts of kindness can make a powerful difference in the lives of patients and caregivers.

Meet Our Founder
Evangelist Tomeka Montegue
Evangelist Tomeka Montegue is a licensed minister, author, and founder of The Esther Cancer Care Ministry, a faith-based outreach established in 2025 to support individuals and families navigating a cancer diagnosis.
Married to her husband Garry for over 30 years, Tomeka is a devoted woman of faith whose life and ministry are rooted in compassion, resilience, and service. In 2023, she was diagnosed with cancer, an experience that deepened her calling to minister to those facing illness and life’s most difficult seasons.
She is a two-time published Christian author, with her award-winning poem “Stop the Cries of Our Children,” featured by the American Poets Society, and her book “The God-Sent Wife and How She Does It.” Through writing, teaching, and ministry, she encourages others to walk in faith, healing, and purpose.
With a professional background in hospitality management, Evangelist Tomeka brings a heart for service and care into every aspect of her work, creating spaces where people feel supported, valued, and strengthened through the love of Christ.
These numbers represent real people—mothers, fathers, siblings, friends—who may suddenly be thrust into crisis.
Survivors often face long treatment courses, chronic health challenges, emotional trauma, and ongoing medical needs.
This makes dedicated support systems—not just medical care—absolutely essential.
This gap leaves caregivers isolated and exhausted, even as they strive to help loved ones.
Those without adequate support can experience delayed care, reduced treatment adherence, and worse overall outcomes.
This underscores the importance of ministries or community support networks that provide companionship, advocacy, and spiritual strength.

"The God-Sent Wife And How She Does It" shares Evangelist Tomeka’s testimony from over 30 years of marriage, offering wisdom, faith, and encouragement to women who desire to honor God in their relationships.
In this book, she reflects on her journey of emotional healing, spiritual growth, and overcoming generational patterns through faith and commitment to God’s Word. It encourages women to align their lives with biblical principles to better understand the covenant of marriage, while also addressing modern challenges that affect relationships today.
This inspiring book offers guidance for women seeking healing, spiritual growth, and a deeper understanding of marriage God’s way.
50% of the proceeds from every book sold go directly toward supporting the Esther Cancer Care Ministry.
When you purchase this book, you are not only receiving encouragement and wisdom — you are also helping support individuals and families facing cancer by contributing to the ministry’s mission of compassion, faith, and care.
